Can I change my order afterwards?
Not usually, as this causes clutter and delays for all involved. If there are orders where fast ordering is key, we can let an order change slide.

How do I place an order?
The product needs to be in stock, or available for pre order. You can see the status for availability in the product description.
What is a Mekanisk Pre-order?
A Mekanisk Pre-order, is a short order window, quick production method. The Pre-orders are often open for one week, or less, depending on the product. The intervals will be announced before a sale. When a Pre-order is closed, the products are produced after your color specifications and choices, then shipped to you. Pre-ordering, instead of buying in stock items gives you the opportunity to choose your exact color and configuration, while saving approximately 20-30% off "in stock" price. It also gives access to products that are not kept in stock.
Can I get some items immediately?
Yes, read the product description to find out if the product is "in stock", then it will ship as fast as possible, often within 1-3 days, unless something else is specified, like when it is stated that it ships with the Pre-order later.
Why isn't everything available?
The keyboard parts are made in Pre-order "rounds", this means that I collect orders before the cases are produced. It takes time to set up these order rounds, and often I want to change the design between "rounds" as well. This takes time, so get them while they are available, or look for in stock items.
Why hasn't my order shipped yet?
These are low quantity keyboard parts, often with multiple color options. It takes time to produce and ship, contact support about it after the estimated time of shipment has happened, so we can check that your order is en route. At Mekanisk we aim to hold all estimates.
Mekanisk pays your taxes (merverdiavgift). You can see the included VAT / MVA in the price. This happens automatically.
Pre order items are made to order, and therefore only have an estimated delivery date. Production and fulfillment delays may occur, and will extend the estimated delivery time. In stock items have a per item estimate on the product page.
Since all the pre order products are made to order, there are fundamentally no order cancellations per EU regulations.
All the parts have a strict quality control, both material wise and with the surface finish. Some of our designs are particularly difficult to make, and some flaws might occur on a very small percentage of production units. If these manage to slip through quality control, we need to know so we can get better. Contact support with pictures, current address and order number and we will compensate you. Color might look different from render pictures, and earlier products due to the anodizing process.
